Albert Einstein and buddhism

"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal God, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural & spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs, it would be Buddhism."- Albert Einstein

God help those who help themselves

American deaths in Iraq reached a grim milestone of 2,000 yesterday while the hurricane Wilma is walloping south Florida. Ironic! Isn’t it?
Each time U.S launches a war on someone else, the must be a beautiful excuses that we are here to help you no matter whether they need help or not. We really thank U.S. for his generous aids. But who will help the U.S. out of the big trouble? Would you like us helping you the way you help others? If so, just let us know. We’d like to show our kindness trying our best to help you either and no one will be lost in the assistant activity. But first of all, we must make sure that we can help ourselves. So now the U.S., my suggestion is try to help yourself first for God Help Those Who Help Themselves and God May Not Help Those Who Help Others especially those helping others for devil. Try to help yourself before natural disasters. Think it over and make your choice!
Never try a war against others for there are better ways. Never try to help others before you are surely protected.

Happy Birthday P.R.C.

The day 56 years ago, an ancient oriental country had finally got nirvana after being oppressed as well as opiumed, robed as well as raped by barbarians from Western for more than a century; after being invaded, slaved and slaughtered by merciless disgusting Japs without being conquered for decade; after being overrode as well as trampled by civil war for nearly ten years, China had established by CCP an new government leading a new China called the People’s Republic of China which blew all those ever committed crimes to Sinaeans away. From that time on, the ever most powerful in the world will never be humiliated by Japs-like gangsters!
Happy Birthday P.R.C.! The whole world will be proud of you in the near future!

China’s Second Manned Space Launch on as Early as National Day

The China News Service reported the Shenzhou VI - which looks similar to the Shenzhou V launched in 2003 - had been transferred to the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in Gansu Province, Northwest China, indicating that the blast-off is approaching.
Shenzhou VI will carry two astronauts on the mission that will last five or more days; first mission carried one astronaut and lasted 21 1/2 hours.
Safety of crew and capsule improved in Shenzhou VI compared with first solo-flight - for example, in life-support systems.
In Shenzhou VI, astronauts enter craft's orbital capsule to conduct scientific experiments, instead of being stuck in re-entry capsule like Yang Liwei.
Cozier trip in Shenzhou VI where heated food and essential sanitary equipment will be available. Astronauts take turns to sleep.

Dooms Day for Bush!

War Supporters Follow Anti-War Rallies

Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON (AP) - Military families and others defending the war in Iraq took their turn Sunday to demonstrate on the National Mall, if in much smaller numbers, and counter the massive protest against the war a day earlier.
About 100 people had gathered before a stage set up on the eastern portion of the mall as the noon rally began. A large photo of an American flag served as a backdrop for the stage, and country music blared from speakers while other banners and signs proclaiming support for U.S. troops waved in the breeze.
John O'Neal, 64, from the Philadelphia area, carried an American flag over one shoulder as he moved around those near the stage. Asking ``Do you want to vote?'' he offered a chance to dip a finger in a cup of blue paint, symbolic of the elections earlier this year in which Iraqis showed off ink-stained fingers proving they had voted.
``This is an indication that efforts the United States has made in Iraq and Afghanistan have led to free and democratic elections,'' O'Neal said.
To the west, near the Washington Monument, workers were taking down the stage used for Saturday's marathon anti-war protest that attracted 100,000 people according to police estimates.
Organizers of Sunday event to show support for troops and President Bush's policies acknowledged that their rally would be much smaller. Still, they said their message would not be overshadowed.
``We're hoping for more folks,'' said Kristinn Taylor, a leader of FreeRepublic.com, one of the sponsors. ``People have been fired up over the past month, especially military family members, and they want to be heard.''
Earlier, Taylor said organizers were prepared for 20,000 people to attend the pro-military rally, billed as a time to honor the troops fighting ``the war on terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world.''
On Saturday, demonstrators opposed to the war in Iraq surged past the White House in the largest anti-war protest in the nation's capital since the U.S. invasion. The rally stretched through the night, a marathon of music, speechmaking and dissent on the mall.
In the crowd were young activists, nuns whose anti-war activism dates to Vietnam, parents mourning their children in uniform lost in Iraq, and uncountable families motivated for the first time to protest.
From the stage, speakers attacked Bush's policies head on, but he was not at the White House to hear it - he was in Colorado and Texas, monitoring hurricane recovery.
A few hundred people in a counter demonstration in support of Bush's Iraq policy lined the protest route near the FBI building. The two groups, separated by a police line, shouted at each other.
War supporters said the scale of the anti-war march didn't take away from their cause.
``It's the silent majority,'' said 22-year-old Stephanie Grgurich of Leesburg, Va., who has a brother serving in Iraq.

China unlikely to cut Venezuela's US oil supplies (AP) Updated: 2005-09-21 07:27

China's increased interest in the Venezuelan oil industry is unlikely to have any effect on U.S. supplies, a top State Department official said Tuesday. China, the world's second largest petroleum consumer, has stepped up investment throughout Latin America, including increased buying of Venezuela's oil.
Charles Shapiro, a senior Western Hemisphere specialist at the State Department, told a Senate panel looking at China's role in Latin America that it would be economically painful for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to make good on a reported threat to cut off oil shipments to the United States.
Shapiro, a former U.S. ambassador to Venezuela, said Chinese imports represent only a fraction of the 1.4 million barrels of oil the United States buys daily from Venezuela.
The export of Venezuelan oil to the United States, he said, is "a market-driven decision that is in the interests of both the seller and, like any market-driven decision, it's in the interest of the buyer."
Viewed as a business decision, the United States has several advantages over China in Venezuela's eyes, Shapiro said. It takes much longer for the fuel to reach China: Chinese ports are three weeks from Venezuela, he said, while U.S. ports are four days away.
He also noted that U.S. refineries are specially designed to refine heavy Venezuela crude oil, while Chinese refineries "would require an investment of billions of dollars."
Overall, China's investment in Latin America and the Caribbean is small: $8.3 billion at the end of 2004, the Chinese say, compared with more than $300 billion in U.S. investment. But the Chinese portion is growing.
Shapiro said the United States is working to make sure China knows that "rules are important. Because China has investments in Latin America, it should have an interest in the stability of Latin America. We want to ensure that Chinese investors and Chinese exporters compete on a level playing field with U.S. investors and U.S. exporters."
Robert Forden, deputy director for China at the State Department, told the lawmakers there was no evidence that China's increased investment in the region meant it was trying to meddle in Latin America's political affairs.
Instead, he said, the interest is primarily economic: "China is looking at growing economic ties to these countries, opportunities to secure resources that they need to fuel their economic development, opportunities to seek expanded markets for export of their goods."
Rogelio Pardo-Maurer, a deputy assistant defense secretary for Western Hemisphere affairs, said that while the United States is seen in the region as "the security partner of choice," China has also ratcheted up its political, economic and military prestige in recent years.
That means, he said, that the United States must "carefully distinguish between legitimate commercial initiatives and the possibility of political or diplomatic efforts to weaken the democratic alliances we have forged."
All I can say is Bush=Bull Shit!

peace will prevail!

9.11, one of the most shocking tragedy in the human history, maybe. But who is the tragedy-maker? Osama Bin Laden? Muslim? Afghanistan? Saddam Hussein? Iran? North Korea? The so-called axis of evils? Why the usa lists so many counties and groups might attack America? Why the usa is so afraid of being attacked by those counties and groups? Look at what the usa ever did and is doing to those countries and groups. Doesn’t the usa have the reason to be frightened?! So bush, the slaughter, is the tragedy-maker rather than anyone else!!! He is good at and enjoys slaughtering the citizens of the world from every corner of the globe as well as the citizen of its own country the Americans! I can’t help shouting out Wake up, Americans! Wake up! It’s time taken action to hunt bush down, and take him into justice, and cease wars as well as terrorism.
Peace will prevail!
